Muscogee Nation Scholarship Foundation Announces Recipients of the Aristocrat Cokv Hecv Honors Program Scholarships
OKMULGEE, Okla. September 18, 2024 — The Muscogee Nation Scholarship Foundation is proud to announce the ten outstanding scholars selected for the inaugural Aristocrat Cokv Hecv Honors Program. These scholars have demonstrated exceptional commitment to tribal leadership, community service, and academic excellence, embodying the values of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.
After a rigorous selection process overseen by an independent review committee, the following individuals have been chosen as recipients of the Aristocrat Cokv Hecv Honors Program scholarships for the Academic Year 2024-2025:
- Allison Teague University of Oklahoma
- April Rinner Oklahoma City University
- Ashley Moelling University of Oklahoma
- Haley DeArmon Oklahoma State University Institute of Technology
- Jerean Mosquito University of Tulsa
- Kaiden Bear University of Central Oklahoma
- Kysa Myers University of Central Oklahoma
- Lauryn Callis Haskell Indian Nations University
- Meredith Good Voice-Birdcreek Tulsa Community College
- Travis Paakkonen Oklahoma State University
“We are excited to announce and present the second class of Aristocrat Cokv Hecv Honors Program Scholars,” said Pete Coser, Jr., MHR, Director of the MCN Scholarship Foundation. “These outstanding Mvskoke students represent the best and brightest of our communities and we are honored to support their academic journey.”
Each scholar will receive a $5,000 scholarship for the 2024-2025 Academic Year ($2,500 per term) to assist them in achieving their educational goals. In addition to financial support, scholars will be expected to participate in community volunteer work and also attend future meetings with Foundation representatives.
“The Aristocrat Cokv Hecv Honors Program was created to highlight scholars that excel in community service, leadership, community/cultural involvement, and academic performance. Each selected student exemplifies Mvskoke Leadership” added Coser. “We are confident that these scholars will make significant contributions to our community and beyond.”
The Muscogee Nation Scholarship Foundation extends its congratulations to the recipients of the Aristocrat Cokv Hecv Honors Program scholarships and wishes them continued success in their academic and leadership pursuits.
