The Accessing Choices in Education (A.C.E.) Indigenous Readers Program is providing an opportunity for elementary and middle school students to participate in previously held sessions.
- Elementary students may choose to view Session 4 featuring the stories,
We are Water ProtectorsĀ andĀ Joshua and the Biggest FishĀ or Session 5 featuringĀ RavenĀ andĀ Birdsong. - Middle school students may participate in Session 2, receiving the books,
We Are Still Here! Native American Truths Everyone Should KnowĀ andĀ Indian Shoes.
Details
The Indigenous Readers series is a 30-minute program where educators, authors, and special guests read stories āaloudā to attendees virtually through a prerecorded session. Students will receive a book bundle (2 books and literacy items to encourage reading) after completing a brief survey following the presentation.Ā Supplies are limited.
