State Reunification & Permanency

State Reunification Services workers provide services to families whose children have been placed into the custody of the State of Oklahoma by recommendation of the Oklahoma Dept. of Human Services.  This is due to children being removed from their home due to abuse or neglect.

Services provided are designed to work with parents in the reunification process to correct conditions that led to the removal of their children.  State Reunification Services workers also monitor cases in state courts throughout Oklahoma to ensure compliance with the Indian Child Welfare Act and to ensure the best interests of the child are the court’s first priority.
