Social Services

The mission of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation Social Services Department is to counsel, advocate, and provide referrals for Native American households to meet certain unmet essential needs. Social Services shall provide necessary assistance to eligible Native American households striving to enhance quality of life while promoting self-sufficiency and financial stability.


General Statement of Services

The Social Services Department consists of two (2) offices, Social Services and School Clothing. Together, the department provides a total of 13 programs which assist with rent or mortgage payments, utility payments, burial assistance, food for funeral assistance, natural disaster, medical travel assistance, Individual Indian Monies (IIM) assessments, and school clothing grant.
