MCN Department of Commerce

The mission of the Department of Commerce is to foster, promote, and develop the foreign and domestic commerce of the Muscogee Nation; and to foster, serve, and promote the Nation’s economic development and technological advancement.

The Department of Commerce consists of the following departments/programs: Self-Governance, Mvskoke Loan Fund, and Contract & Employment Services.

Contracting and Employment Support Office (CESO)

Contracting and Employment Support Law was enacted pursuant to the Nation’s inherent sovereign authority to self-governance with jurisdictional capacity to create and uphold unique employment and procurement laws within the boundaries of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation jurisdiction.

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation in its intent to address the rate of unemployment and underemployment will require a fair and equitable employment of the citizens of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation as well as other Native American citizens from federally recognized tribes.

The Muscogee (Creek) Nation will use the C&ES office to ensure that the Muscogee (Creek) Nation receives the rightful share of employment and other economic opportunities within the boundaries of the Muscogee (Creek) Nation.

Through collaboration with national leadership and project stakeholders, we develop innovative solutions to meet grant funding expectations and provide planning support for national project priorities.
